In Switzerland, GEVER<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bk.admin.ch\/bk\/de\/home\/dokumentation\/gever-bund.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(electronic business administration<\/a>) has developed in recent years as the de facto standard for the administration of transactions and the associated documents (records), even outside the Confederation. GEVER has had a direct impact on technology and the provider landscape. A separate ecosystem of providers and specialized solutions has established itself around GEVER. At the beginning of 2025, the Confederation announced that the precise (or stringent, depending on how you read it) specifications on which GEVER was based are to be abolished as a long-term goal. The new strategy is no longer based on centralized information management. Employees should work with the most suitable tools for their tasks and be supported by additional tools. This support should take place in the background as far as possible and can be divided into different skills. This opens up a whole range of questions: Do we need new solutions? What are the specific requirements for the new solutions? Will the provider landscape change fundamentally? What are the implications for cantons, municipalities and the federal government?           <\/p>\n<p>The announced change of direction has caused uncertainty. Krm.swiss has therefore decided to carry out an information campaign to address all these and other questions. We would like to give those affected from all areas the opportunity to express their opinions and will then compile a summary of these opinions and a report on them.  <\/p>\n<p>The campaign runs in four parts:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-78396\" src=\"https:\/\/krm.swiss\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Beautiful.ai-Quo-Vadis-GEVER-Slide-3-1-800x450.jpeg\" alt=\"GEVER information campaign\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\"><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>We begin with an <strong>interview between Bruno Wildhaber and Dominik Sievi<\/strong> in which we highlight the most important changes to the Confederation&#8217;s new strategy and also shed light on some of the key questions in advance<br \/>\n Youtube<strong>Link, external: (<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/SOQQoD7lTf4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video link<\/a>).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/SOQQoD7lTf4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-78431\" src=\"https:\/\/krm.swiss\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/GEVER-Interview-Screenshot-2025-04-16-212521_2-800x447.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"447\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>On May 7, 2025, a <strong>discussion round with providers<\/strong> will take place, which we will broadcast LIVE. The aim is to find out how providers feel about the new GEVER strategy and how they want to position themselves in this new landscape. <\/li>\n<li>Subsequently or in parallel, we will conduct <strong>surveys of the affected user groups<\/strong>, i.e. welcome representatives from the federal government, cantons and municipalities. These surveys will take the form of on-site or online interviews (and questionnaires). <\/li>\n<li>We will then <strong>compile<\/strong> the <strong>results and<\/strong> publish <strong>them in several reports<\/strong>: a short report, which we will also make available to the public; as well as reports on the provider situation (subject to a charge) and individual reports (commissioned by users, subject to a charge).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>To mark the start of the campaign, we have put together a short presentation<a href=\"https:\/\/www.beautiful.ai\/player\/-ONnHvw9LbuUzS3mMjXI\" target=\"_top\">(GEVER &#8211; quo vadis campaign<\/a>) of the most important facts and published the interview between Dominik Sievi and Bruno Wildhaber on our YouTube channel.
